JB was charged with possession with the intent to distribute after more than 28 grams of cocaine were discovered during the execution of a search warrant at the rental house that she shared with two other roommates. The cocaine was discovered in a jacket that was hanging on the back of JB's bedroom door. We tried the case to a jury and, despite the fact that the jacket appeared to be a woman's jacket, we were able to convince the jury that the cocaine belonged to JB's boyfriend who had a history of drug use/distribution. JB was found Not Guilty of all charges.
