CC was charged with Aggravated Robbery for allegedly following an international tourist into an alley in Fort Collins' Old Town Square and robbing him at gunpoint. Surveillance videos captured CC and the tourist entering and exiting the alley, but there was no surveillance video of the robbery itself. We were able to highlight that the tourist was highly intoxicated when the robbery allegedly occurred and, to the extent a robbery actually occurred, the tourist was too intoxicated to make a reliable identification. The jury agreed and found CC Not Guilty of Aggravated Robbery.
