MEET RICK SILVER
After 15 years as a criminal defense attorney, I have yet to find anything that I enjoy more than helping people fix their problems. I have counseled more than 1,000 clients through their darkest hours and I can do the same for you.
I began my criminal defense career in 2007 after graduating from the University of Mississippi's School of Law. My first client was a 21-year-old landscaper charged with possession of marijuana after a park ranger allegedly observed him and his friends smoking along the banks of the Etowah River in Dawsonville, Georgia. The DA's offer was unreasonable and my client maintained that the marijuana was not his so we set his case for trial. The jury returned a Not Guilty verdict and I was hooked.
Since that first case I have focused 100% of my practice on criminal defense and I have tried (and won) dozens of cases, including many serious violent felonies (murder, armed robbery, aggravated assault, vehicular homicide).
In 2019, after practicing law in Georgia for 11 years, I moved my family from Atlanta to Fort Collins where I continued to practice criminal defense. Since 2019, I have successfully represented hundreds of clients with charges ranging from DUI to Murder and gained the experience needed to expertly handle any Colorado misdemeanor or felony offense.
Outside of work, I spend my free time biking, coaching youth sports, and traveling with my wife and our two children.
